SACRAMENTS

Baptisms

Baptism is the ritual act, with the use of water, by which one is admitted as a full member of the Church. Parishioners are invited and encouraged to have their children baptised. Infant baptism is the introduction of a person into the Church community. Through the waters of Baptism the person enters into the life of God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. For all people, not just infants, who wish to be baptised in the faith please contact the church administration on 6559 8354

Marriages

Marriage is a divine calling by which a man and a woman give themselves to each other in a life-long partnership. It is an opportunity to experience the beauty of human love, a love that mirrors the love of God. For all marriage inquires please contact the church administration on 6559 8354

First Eucharist
First Eucharist - First Holy Communion
First Eucharist is a special occasion - a further step in becoming one with Christ and united with the People of God. For most people first Eucharist takes place at about the age of seven. Children should have an understanding of the sacrament that is appropriate to their age. For additional information contact
the church administration on 6559 8354
Confirmation
There is a close relationship between the sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation. With the onset of adolescence a child begins to assume the responsibilities of adulthood. He begins to see his place within the church and in the community at large. We receive a special grace (Confirmation) by which our faith is deepened and strengthened, so that it will be strong enough not only for our own needs but for the needs of others in the community. For additional information contact the church administration on 6559 8354
